Last week Johannes Braun and Toby Cornish (JUTOJO) visited the photo library of the Kunsthistorisches Institut in Florence to make a film about the handling of photographs, traces found upon them and archival practices. The film will not only cover one but all four archives of the project “Photo Objects”. It will premiere at the exhibition “UNBOXING PHOTOGRAPHS. ARBEITEN IM FOTOARCHIV” at the Kunstbibliothek in Berlin in February 2018. Thank you to everyone who made this possible! See here some first impressions from the shoot!
